RETRO SUNDAY’S PART 18 SUPA SAINT LS STONE LOVE AND METRO MEDIA JAN 1992
Welcome back to another edition of Retro Sunday’s dropping the best in the Old School. Today I introduce to you a Sound System that many of you newbies may have never heard of, Supa Saint!. Supa saint was based out of Kingston and was much in demand on the island like Stone Love and Metro Media during the late 1980’s and early 1990’s.
This session features Supa saint alongside Stone Love and Metro Media at the popular Chelsea Jerk Centre, in Half Way Tree, January 1992. Supa saint begins the early juggling with a great selection of dancehall Lovers Rock tracks from artist such as Freddy McGregor, Marcia Griffiths, Johnny Osbourne and much more, then they begin to take the dance to another level playing songs from Johhny P, Tiger, Capleton, Penny |Irie, Buju Banton, to name a few. I hope you enjoy this audio, the quality is excellent, likewise the selection and the vibe. I have part 2 to this Dance which I will be sharing very soon.
