YGF RECORDS AIM TO TOP CHARTS WITH SANCHEZ, CHARLY BLACKS, SHATTA WALES & DEVIN DI DAKTA
After a productive 2016, rising Ocho Rios record company YGF Records continues to grow. The label has some exciting projects out, led by high-riding deejay Charly Black, Deep Jahi, Devin Di Dakta, Jahvillani, Range , Vershon and Ghanaian artiste Shatta Wale.
‘We Change Money’ is the name of Charly Black’s song for YGF on the Suit and Tie rhythm. Deep Jahi’s Close Call, Devin Di Dakta’s ‘It’s Going Great’, a single by Range & Vershon titled ‘Sufferation’.
Also, New Banger For The Summer and Beyond is The TanZanite Riddim which features
‘Can’t Stop Me’ by Shatta Wale, Jahvillani’s Sexy Gyal and ‘Bubble Instructor by Mardix Cn.
Producer Tevin Richards, who started YGF Records three years ago, said the label’s profile gets more exposure each time an artist of note records for it.
“It shows that we are growing internationally and appealing to that market. We’re looking to carry the brand to that level,” he said.
Recently, YGF Records got a major boost when dancehall royalty, Sanchez, recorded the song Love on the Suit And Tie.
Another positive for YGF Records was Tevin Richards and His Partner, Gavin Grant, were invited to address Grade 11 students for Tevin’s alma mater, at Calabar High School, in Kingston.
Their motivational talk focused on the music business and what it takes to be a success in the competitive industry.
YGF Records also has works in Process with Gifted Dancehall acts like; Trance Out Law, Nikkei Camera, Stephen Dajure, Bugle & Jahmiel
