Loyal supporters and friends of Dancehall artist, Bramma, succumbed to tears of joy as he launched his first ever body of work, the “One A Day EP”, on September 16, 2017 at his management team’s label home, S-Lock Entertainment, in his hometown community of Duhaney Park.

Slated to begin at 8pm, the festivities came off to a late start at 11pm due to technical difficulties but patrons who were present from early bounced to the musical jugglings of Full Klipp Entertainment Sound, as they blasted present day Dancehall hits from the rooftop lounge. When the event finally went underway, Zip FM’s Jade played host and got things off to a superb start. The anticipation was immensely satisfied as the guest performers took to the stage.

The crowd was pleased to see some of Duhaney Park’s finest performing two songs each. Divi-D got the ball rolling with a chant and straight into his track, “Give Thanks For Life”. Then others came on and did well before a few Big Ship artists passed through. No-shows like the McGregors and Laden of Big Ship Records, American rapper Kvng Vegas, American producer TuchPoint Music, Gospel artist Omari, and former Gaza Diva, Dancehall artist Sheba, were unable to attend due to prior engagements or circumstances beyond their control but supported Bramma in spirit. In attendance though, were several industry personnel like other Zip Jocks, namely Smurf and Rush, producers like Blaqk Sheep, Kalonji from Picante Music and German from Emudio Records, who produced two songs on the EP. Hype TV covered the entire event as one of the sponsors as well as Sanjay and the Intense crew were present doing interviews before the show began. Pon Di Spot provided video coverage as well.

Surprise performances by I-Octane, Bounty Killa and Jah Vinci boosted the spirits of all on the roof as persons rushed to the front of the stage with their smart phones to get videos of the legends on stage. As mentors and friends in the business, they each shared words of encouragement to the man of the night, who was also celebrating his birthday, as well as words of warning to those who didn’t support the movement Bramma has created with his “One A Day EP”. Emotions came rushing to patrons who knew Bramma prior to his success in the music business when he performed his 2012 hit song, “Birds Of A Feather”, an S-Lock Records production. Tears raced down several faces and others fought to keep some back as proud feelings came over them after seeing their friend, their artist, their son on stage knowing the journey he has been on, the challenges he has faced over the years and still encountering now, Bramma has come a long way. Bounty Killa reminisced on stage as he informed everyone that he knewBramma for a long time and even after they met, nothing changed. Bramma kept supporting him and he, in turn, returned the favor. He said the business itself needs more support for support and that other DJs need to start playing Bramma‘s songs, as they are extremely good and need that platform to push his music and career even further.

A proud moment for all, especially for Bramma, who knows what he is capable of achieving and has his sights set on making every goal attainable, starting with “One A Day EP”. Instead of the typical numbering system, Bramma has his EP track listing as Monday to Sunday, each track representing the seven days of the week, each relatable, relevant, different and easily understandable. He got his point across and hopes for everyone to pay attention, take heed to his lyrics and his game-changing plans for his career.

Bramma envisions himself on a pinnacle at the moment and believes that “One A Day” will bring forth all that is rightfully his. The videos for all seven tracks are available on YouTube and the EP on all digital online stores for purchasing. Bramma would like continued support in order to bring “One A Day” to number one on all charts. Stay tuned for more.

Bramma thanks his team at S-Lock Entertainment, his manager, Dadda, his personal assistant and booking agent, Lesley Hayles, his right hand, Krucial, and all who have made this launch a success.
